Buy a piece of history , and make an investment, it's rare that someone can say I just invested money into a car, usualy if you say this your friends will laugh at you, well it's not the case with this 1969 Pontiac GTO.
Up for sale is a real nice 65 Gto not lemans with PHS documents proving it to be a Gto, as many of you know Pontiac had the gto as an option on the lemans back in 1964-65, so the vin number won`t show 242 as in later years , it would start with 237 for the earlier models. The engine has a YS code which is the correct original engine and Transmission. The history of the car is the following : Current Owner bought this from the original owner and yes a little old lady owned it from Southern California , It has the California black license plates that came with the car & a lot of paperwork from when the lady had work done to the car when she had owned it , such as getting a muffler changed or any type of service work . He has owned it for about 10 years and it comes with a clear Nevada Title .
The body is real nice and straight , the car has never been in an accident ,no rust or bondo and the trunk and floors are solid ,all original sheet metal . This car has 102,500 original miles on the car and the car has the original motor ,389 which has been rebuilt and it has about 14,000 miles on it . The car has a 2 speed automatic transmission which was also rebuilt when the motor done and it shifts fine , it also has power steering .
The car has had new tires with Cragar 15 inch rims, it has a Edelbrock intake and he has the original intake as well that goes with the car, it has Doug Thorley Headers , Flowmaster dual exhaust , new brakes , newer 2 stage paint job was done about 4 years ago with the original color night watch blue . the lady that owned before had the rear seats recovered in the original seat material and she had the headliner replaced ... The interior is in very good condition, it has the original carpet , no holes .... This car is very dependable! Its driven regularly and has always been garaged stored.
