BMW E93 3 series convertible Specs & Information

The convertible version of the E90 BMW 3 series is called e93. BMW finally decided to enter the hardtop convertible market with the 2007 model BMW 3 series convertible cars, I believe it was kind of a had to situation since more and more manufacturers are offering this platform, and I am saying it because BMW tried to stay away from this until now because of the additional weight added to the vehicle (440lbs) and this can greatly influence handling and other important caracteristics in a vehicle. On the other hand a hard top convertible is hard to beat, you can either drive it as a coupe or in a mere 22 seconds you can make it a convertible and there is no worries about the fading plastic window or canvas getting worn.

The new design is just as beautiful as the coupe model with slight changes to the cars exterior and interior surfaces. Driving the vehicle with the top in closed position provides great visibility to the outside unlike the annoying canvas top with very poor visibility to the outside from the vehicle.
