Driving impressions: Considered by many one of the last BMW that has the “BMW” appearance, these cars are a great value for the money. In the power department : I would not consider buying anything less than the 3.0 inline six powered 530i based on my personal experience with this particular model I found the 528i and 525i under powered for it’s weight and size, the 3.0 variant has plenty of power on the other hand and the 290hp powered V8 simply talks for itself. If you won’t mind driving one with a manual transmission I would say it’s the way to go, I could reach significantly better mpg with this setup on the 540i. Prices are getting more and more inviting as this model ages and is a very good choice with it’s timeless looks and great reliability. Sport package equipped vehicles have factory sports wheels with staggered set up, sports suspension and seating, one of the best looking steering wheels and an updated look, I would not take a car without this package.
